Symposium entitled "The initiative to publish 250 research in global journals and registration mechanism in scientific societies"

 

 

        The Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center held a scientific symposium under the title "The initiative to publish 250 research in global journals and registration mechanism in scientific societies" on Wednesday 24/1/2018 at the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy under the auspices of the President of the University Prof. Dr. Amin  Daway  Thamir and In the presence of the assistants of the President of the University for scientific and administrative affairs and a large gathering of the heads of departments, researchers, and professors. The symposium opened with a speech by the President of the University of Technology, which was praised for the role of the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center by hosting the symposium. He stressed in his speech the necessity of publishing scientific research in the international journals with the participation of all professors and university researchers to elevate the university to a prestigious level between the universities of Iraq and the world. The Symposium included three lectures that represented the main axes of the symposium. The first axis focuses on the basics of the initiative 250 international research of 2018 and the mechanism of registration research and distribution between the professors of the university. The second axis included how to register in global and international societies and global publication while the third axis explained the role of scientific research in upgrading the quality standards of universities. The initiative was welcomed by all the attendees and their willingness to join hands with some of them in order to raise the name of the University of Technology locally and internationally.

 

The Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center is organizing a symposium entitled

(Sound management of scientific research and participation in global conferences)

 

 

    The Center for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research, in cooperation with the Environmental Research Center and the Center for Energy Technology and Renewable Energies at the University of Technology, organized on 25/12/2017 a central symposium on the sound management of scientific research and participation in international conferences.

    The seminar included two sessions and seven lectures focused on the outputs of scientific research and conferences at the University of Technology and the scientific and practical requirements in writing scientific research and the importance of scientific participation in international conferences and how to develop them in scientific publishing sober.

     The seminar also addressed the most important requirements for scientific publishing sober away from plagiarism as well as learn how to deal with Thomson-Reuters influence coefficient in various disciplines. The symposium also included the role of scientific research in raising the quality standard and classification of universities and how to find sources of funding for scientific research.

 

Mr. Issa Daham Glob, a researcher in Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center, he has published three scientific research papers in international and local journals in various fields for 2017 as follows

 

  • Enhancement the Efficiency of ZnOnanofiber Mats Antibacterial Using Novel PVA/Ag Nanoparticles.
  • Parpartion of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Materials and their Activity on Fungus growth.
  • Effect of Aging on Some Biochemical Crops in Domestic Bovine Serum.

 

 

 

 

 

The President of the University of Technology congratulates the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center for winning the Best Research Center on Iraqi Science Day

 

The President of the University and the Vice President for Administrative Affairs visited the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center on Tuesday, 26/9/2017. He defended the Center and the University of Technology in order to make more special efforts in the field of scientific research sober and his excellency ordered to honor all the teachers and staff of the Center with a letter of thanks and appreciation on this occasion and provided all the possibilities for the continuation of the Center as a front of The university's technological aspects to serve the educational process and society.
