A research team at the Center publishes scientific research in an international journal

The researchers Aus A. Najim and Ammar T. Salih publish a Scientific research on the manufacture of a high-sensitivity gas sensor for low concentrations of ammonia in the journal "Physics Status Solidi A" of the prestigious publishing house (Wiley) of scientific research. The researchers have confirmed that this research is of great importance as the sensor showed very high stability over thirty consecutive days. The researchers have proposed a high-precision mathematical model of detector behavior with different concentrations of ammonia gas.

The initiative to publish 250 research

Symposium entitled "The initiative to publish 250 research in global journals and registration mechanism in scientific societies"

The Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center held a scientific symposium under the title "The initiative to publish 250 research in global journals and registration mechanism in scientific societies" on Wednesday 24/1/2018 at the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy under the auspices of the President of the University Prof. Dr. Amin  Daway  Thamir and In the presence of the assistants of the President of the University for scientific and administrative affairs and a large gathering of the heads of departments, researchers, and professors. The symposium opened with a speech by the President of the University of Technology, which was praised for the role of the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center by hosting the symposium. He stressed in his speech the necessity of publishing scientific research in the international journals with the participation of all professors and university researchers to elevate the university to a prestigious level between the universities of Iraq and the world. The Symposium included three lectures that represented the main axes of the symposium. The first axis focuses on the basics of the initiative 250 international research of 2018 and the mechanism of registration research and distribution between the professors of the university. The second axis included how to register in global and international societies and global publication while the third axis explained the role of scientific research in upgrading the quality standards of universities. The initiative was welcomed by all the attendees and their willingness to join hands with some of them in order to raise the name of the University of Technology locally and internationally.
